Obituary of Betty Plichta

Betty Plichta, 87, of East Brunswick, passed away at her home on April 12, 2021. Born in Linden, NJ in 1934, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Ruskovich and Bertha Pietro. Before retiring, Betty worked as a Meat wrapper for A&P in East Brunswick. She will be dearly missed.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Frank in 2014 and daughter in-law Judy Plichta.

Surviving are her five sons, Frank Plichta, Jr. of Bradenton, FL, Robert of South River, Michael and his wife Donna Plichta of Monroe Township, Emil and his wife Maureen Plichta of Bradenton, FL, and Andrew and his wife Kathleen Plichta of South River; two daughters, Barbara Marino of Ft. Smith, AK, and Rosemarie and her husband Ernest Lunardelli of Monroe Township; a brother in-law, Paul and his wife Susan Plichta of Pine Bush, NY; a sister in-law, Agnes Plichta, and nine grandchildren, Jessica and her husband, Wayne, Michael, Lacey, Meagan, Anthony, Danielle, Alyson, Kylie, Shaylee and 1 great grandchild, Jayden.

Relatives and friends are welcomed on Monday, April 19 th from 2-6 PM, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, NJ.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge at 9:30 AM on Tuesday April 20th, interment will follow at the NJ Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown.

In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256
