Obituary of Patricia Helen Van Wagner
Patricia Helen Van Wagner, 75, of Edison, passed away on Sunday February 7, 2021 at her residence. Born in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Paula. Patricia was a kind and gentle soul, whose passions included gardening, long walks around the neighborhood, and trips to the beach. However, what brought her the greatest joy in life was always time spent with her family, whether during the holidays, in visits to the New York Botanical Gardens, at summer barbecues, or at the annual Superbowl party. She was a thoughtful and considerate wife and mother, generous of time and spirit, and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Patricia was preceded in death by her sister Susan. She is survived by her loving husband, Paul; they devoted their lives to one another through 49 years of marriage. She is also survived by her son Adam and his wife Rachel; her son Edward and his wife Evelyn; and her grandchildren Rebecca, Joshua, Jacob, Patrick, Zachary and Tyler. Services were held privately, under the direction of Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, NJ. A memorial to celebrate Patricia’s life will be held later this year when it is safer to gather and COVID restrictions are lifted. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Patricia’s memory to either the Wound Warrior Project, Feed the Children, or the Special Olympics.
