Saturday, February 16, 2019Ethel’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope. https://www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/awake-no3-2018-nov-dec/

Friday, February 1, 2019My condolences to all of you. Your mother was such a wonderful woman. Everyone in our family loved her. What I remember most was her humor. She always made us laugh. What a great friend she was to my mother! She was a bright spot in our lives for many years. I’ll always remember her fondly.

I remember laughing so hard with her and my mom when they worked at st Thomas and all the good times we had at each others houses when we were kids. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers. My mom has been gone 20 years this summer.dont know where the time went.

Thursday, January 31, 2019Anne, Jim, Paul, Carl, Clare, my nieces, Michelle, Elaine, Nicole and all of Ethel’s other grandchildren, I am so very sorry for the loss of your Mother and Grandmother. I have so many nice memories of Ethel, especially when my daughter was younger. She loved taking her granddaughters shopping or out to eat, especially Elaine because Elaine loved her food when younger. Many yard sales on Mimi Road, Ethel running in and out of the house getting more items as things sold. I remember my nieces birthday parties. Ethel always had a big box of clothes, a variety of items for the birthday girl. Your mom/grandmother was a good hearted person. It was nice that she and my mom liked each other and could enjoy each other’s company at any family gatherings. you will all miss her terribly. Hold onto your memories of all the good times. I believe your Mom/Grandmother is at peace and happily reunited with her husband and that both are smiling just as they are in the beautiful picture posted here.
