Visitation at Funeral Home
Obituary of Patricia Janet Fallon
An angel entered the room of P. Janet Fallon on November 17, 2018 and carried her away to rest in the arms of Jesus.
Born in New York City to Walter and Edwina Garbie, lived and married to her beloved husband, T. Gilbert Fallon in Jersey City, then moved to Old Bridge, New Jersey. She was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Old Bridge and devoted to her family.
Janet was a member of the NJ State Democratic Committee and was the longest standing elected official at that post. She served as Deputy County Clerk of Middlesex County, New Jersey. As Chairperson of the Bicentennial Committee, Janet was instrumental in changing the name of the town from Madison Township to Old Bridge. During their time together, Janet and Gil met many people including JFK, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Joe Franklin and Merv Griffin. As a couple they won the King and Queen Bowling Tournament in their town.
Janet's passions were music, song, cooking, to please everyone and enjoy laughter. She tried to be friends to all and enemy to none.
She leaves to mourn, her loving son Jeff, with wife Maria and two grandchildren, Jeffrey and Corey, as well as her brothers, Walter and Robert, and sister, Ann Marie, as well as many nieces and nephews. Her husband, Gil, predeceased her in May of 2002. We all know she will be very happy to be with him again.
