Obituary of Patricia M. Parlow

After a courageous battle with Alzheimer's, Patricia Mary Farrell Parlow, 83, of Chadwick Beach passed on September 2, 2018, in Toms River. She was born on November 27, 1934, in New York City. She spent most of her life in South River, NJ raising her four children, being an active member of the PTA and the South River Education Association, and most importantly, cheering her children at numerous sporting events. She was a devoted mother and their number one fan. She was a school bus driver for South River School District. Upon retirement, she moved full time to her summer home in Chadwick Beach. Here she was a member of the Chadwick Beach Board of Trustees serving as treasurer and secretary. She was a member St. Pio of Lavalette and never missed a mass that one of her grandchildren was altar serving.

Pat embraced life and lived each day to the fullest. She was an avid reader, golfer, and bowler. She loved traveling the world and sharing her experiences, although her favorite place will always be Chadwick Beach. Pat was a beloved grandmother. Whether she was jumping the waves or playing board games with her grandchildren, she cherished each moment with each of them. She has provided her children, grandchildren, family, and friends, with a lifetime of warm and loving memories.

Pat was predeceased by her husband of 33 years, Robert F. Parlow and sister, Elizabeth Farrell Deacon. Surviving are her sons Robert and his wife, Jerriann; Donald and his wife, Patricia; Christopher and his wife, Toni Ann, and daughter Patricia; eight grandchildren, Brittany and her husband, Daniel, Dylan, Samantha, Kaitlyn and her fiancé, Ryan, Kyle, Christopher, Robert, and Olivia; her great granddaughter, Caroline; her sister-in-law, Ann Ramos, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 5th, from 4-8pm at Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. A funeral mass will take place Thursday, September 6th at 10am at Our Lady of Peace RC Church in North Brunswick, followed by burial at Holy Cross Burial Park in South Brunswick.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave. Floor 17 Chicago, IL 60601.
