Obituary of Marilyn Rinfret
Marilyn Rinfret, 85, of Spotswood, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in South River on June 2nd.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, to William and Edna Kamper, she was a graduate of Bay Ridge High School. Marilyn resided in Spotswood for 59 years, before moving to South River 8 years ago. She worked as a clerk in the Family Court Office in New Brunswick, retiring in 1996. Marilyn was a communicant of Corpus Christi Church in South River.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ronald R. Rinfret, who passed away in 1972, her brother William Kamper, sisters Helen McGuirk and Dorothy Kamper, and grandson Matthew Cronce.
She leaves behind her loving family; her sister Mary Lou Malone, children Debra Ostroy and husband Daniel (Debary FL), Roger Rinfret (Albrightsville, PA), Gail Barratt and husband Herb (South River, NJ), Brian Rinfret and wife Lisa (Monroe, NJ), and Sharon Warley and husband Tom (Atlanta, GA), 16 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren, a great grandchild on the way, many nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
Marilyn enjoyed ballroom dancing, spending time with family and friends, and crocheting.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 6th, from 6-9pm at Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.
A funeral mass will take place on Thursday, June 7th, at 10:30am at Corpus Christi Church, 100 James St, South River. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in her memory.
