Kerri Ann Sliva/Strassel 49 of Browns Mills died March 15 2021 at home from ALS. Kerri was the oldest child of Robert (Rocky) and Karen Zambor. She was predeceased by her grandmother Annamae Hannigan /Roman and her uncle Bobby Robert Hannigan.
Kerri is survived by her husband and care giver Michael Strassel. Her only child Rhiannon Norris O'keefe and son in-law Ryan O'keefe of old bridge, Michael’s daughter Brandy Lee Strassel/Olsen husband Alex, children Sapphira and Alex of Philly. Brother Kenneth Forano sister in law Sabrina, Sister Nicole Parillo of East Brunswick and nephews Zackery and Zander Forano of Jackson NJ .
She is also survived by Auntie Maryann Prenderville, Uncle Tom, cousins Tommy Prenserville, Kim Prenderville /Sigismondi of Florida and cousin George Prenderville of Spotswood. Uncle Steven Hannigan, Aunt Rosemarie Hannigan of Edison cousins Jamie and Niko Hannigan/ Delrocco of Nashianic Station, Steven Hannigan of California. Her cousin, Aunt and friend Tonilynn Sardis of Milltown and cousins Johnny and Tony Sardis. Her lifelong friend Tricia Mchale of Windsor, and her god daughter Jaimie Mchale /Torres of Tennessee.
Kerri lived in Monroe Twp for 36 years before moving to Browns Mills, she graduated from East Brunswick Votech class of 89. She worked in Spotswood Shoprite for 15 years ,EB Walmart for 3 years and West Berlin Walmart for 2 years
She was an avid reader including books about the paranormal and weird new jersey. she listened to country music, Kid Rock, and Rod Stewart. Her favorite song was by Fleetwood Mac ( Rhiannon ). She was a huge animal lover and advocate.
She was predeceased by her dogs Kasey, Blitzen, puppy son Jack, cat Mow, turtle Michael Angelo, and bunny Benny. leaves behind 3 dogs, Hunter, Lily, Willow, 3 cats Luna, Kiki and Lucifer, 2 turtles Guinevere and Genevieve, bunny Jet.
ALS took her body but will never take her life from anyone that she loved or loved her.
A visitation will take place Saturday, March 20th, from 3PM - 7PM at Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. Cremation will be private.
