Virginia Ann Phillips, age 75, passed away on Sunday, February 3rd, at her home in East Brunswick, NJ surrounded by her family. She was born on January 17, 1944 in New Brunswick, NJ to Michael and Mary Seneca and had two sisters, Mary and Ann.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, George; their daughter Jeannine and her son Steven of Bethlehem, PA; and daughter Michelle, her husband Marc and their daughters Madeline and Ava of Cranbury, NJ.
From summertime parties to holiday gatherings, Virginia always loved to surround herself with family. As a result of her generous spirit towards family, friends and even strangers, she was loved by so many. Her Catholic life meant everything to her as she drew strength and courage from it. Virginia was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church and was a CCD teacher for 37 years. She also served as a Eucharist Minister for 12 years. She thoroughly enjoyed volunteering at Preferred Care Nursing Home for 6 years, while taking care of her mother.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 7th, from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, NJ.
A church service will be held on Friday, February 8th, at 10:15 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Spotswood, NJ. Burial will follow at Holy Burial Park, 840 Cranbury-South River Road in East Brunswick.
