Louis "Lou" Molluso, age 88, passed away Monday, January 28th, in Old Bridge.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, he resided in Cranbury. He was a US Marine veteran, serving during the Korean War. In his free time, Lou was an avid tennis player, and had the chance to play with Arthur Ashe. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather; he loved spending time with his grandchildren. He will be remembered to everyone who knew him as the nicest, most kind person you could ever meet. He was very passionate about taking care of his family, and giving to many charities.
Lou was predeceased by his beloved wife, Anne Molluso, who passed away in 2013, his daughter Cynthia Israel, and siblings Vincenza and Pat.
He leaves behind his loving family; his son John Molluso and his wife Leslie Baran, his daughters Irene Alibrando and her husband John and Lisa Molluso, his 9 grandchildren, Stephanie, Amanda, Scotty, Chris, Jason, Emily, Tommy, Alex, and Kate, and loving son-in-law, Joe Israel.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 30th, from 3-7pm at Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 31st at 11:00am at the funeral home, and Marine Funeral Honors will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park in South Brunswick.
