John J. Homza passed away Tuesday, March 13th, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
He was 94 years of age.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA, John was a long time resident of East Brunswick, living in the area since 1966. He was active with the East Brunswick Senior Center, where he loved to play cards. He was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Old Bridge. John was a proud veteran of the US Army, serving during WW II.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Amelia Homza, who passed away in 2015.
John leaves his loving family; son John and wife Teresita, and daughter Patricia Antzes, and his 4 grandchildren; Danielle, Jack, Adam, and Evan.
A visitation will be held Friday, March 16th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 17th at 9:30am at the funeral home, followed by a 10:30am mass at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Old Bridge. Entombment will be at Holy Cross Burial Park in South Brunswick.
