Emily Claire Fredricks, of Philadelphia and East Brunswick, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017. Born in New Brunswick, she graduated from East Brunswick High School in 2011, and graduated with honors from Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island, summa cum laude, with a degree in Baking and Pastry and a minor in Psychology. She was the pastry chef at Le Chéri in Philadelphia, and had previously worked at the Ritz Carlton in Naples, Florida.
She is predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Frederick and Josephine Hess, and her paternal grandfather, Richard Fredricks and his wife Deborah.
Surviving are her parents, Richard and Laura Fredricks, her loving brothers, Michael and Jack, and grandmother, Madeline Fredricks. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins, and wonderful friends. She loved playing volleyball in high school, was very creative, loved taking photographs, and enjoyed traveling. We will all miss her smile and laughter, and her loving personality.
A visitation will be held Sunday, December 3rd, from 1-5pm at Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.
A funeral Mass will be held Monday, December 4th at 10:15am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Old Bridge, entombment to follow at Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick.
