Samuel Rutch passed away Saturday, October 07, 2017 in Old Bridge.
He was 84 years of age.
Born in Jersey City, he lived in Laurence Harbor and Old Bridge before moving to Edison. Samuel was a Bus Aide for Special Needs students for the Board of Education of Old Bridge, a member of the Knights of Columbus, Assembly 676 in South Amboy, and was a Deacon at St. Bernadette Church in Sayreville. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in the Korean War.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Theresa Rutch, and loving children; sons Michael, Joseph and Paul, and daughters Dolores Adriance and Teresa Rutch, 7 grandchildren, Mary, Danny, Matthew, Sara, AJ, Zachary, and Megan, and 1 great grandchild, Anthony.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 10th, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 11th, at 9:00am at the funeral home, followed by a 10:15am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Old Bridge. Interment will be private.
