Bernadine " Deanie" (Wozniak) Karanewsky passed away surrounded by her loving family
on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, New Brunswick. Bernadine was 81 years of age. Born in Sayreville she resided in South River. She was a communicant of Corpus Christi Church in South River. Bernadine was predeceased by her husband, Edward, "Pindel" Karanewsky who died in 1997, by her parents; Celia and John Wozniak, and her brother, Edward Wozniak. She is survived by her brother, Donald Wozniak of Sayreville, her two sons, Donald Karanewsky of Escondido, California, Edward Karanewsky Jr. of South River, her daughter, Susan Nelan of Sayreville, her granddaughters; Brooke, Jessica, and Caitlin, and her great grandchildren, Nicholas and Carlee. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 8:00 AM from the Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick followed by a 9:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Corpus Christi Church, South River. Burial will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Parlin. Calling hours will be Wednesday, January, 25, 2012 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road,

Susan, Dan, Jessica and Brooke My deepest sympathy's to all of you and your families. No words can take away the pain you are feeling.
