Biography
MONROE TOWNSHIP - Barbara Dunwoody Thomsson died Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was 82.
Born in West Chester, PA, she resided in East Brunswick for 43 years before moving to the Rossmoor Community in Monroe Township 11 years ago. In addition, she wintered in Naples, FL for the past 20 years.
She was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Nursing School, and was an avid bridge and golf player.
She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, East Brunswick, and Great Valley Presbyterian Church, Malvern, PA.
Surviving are her husband, Arne Thomsson; two sons, David and his wife Patricia Thomsson of Cranbury, and Eric and his wife Ann Thomsson of Greensboro, NC; a daughter, Laura Thomsson of Milltown; a sister, Eleanor Chworowsky of Honeybrook, PA; and three grandchildren, Douglas, Stephen and Katie.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday 7-9PM in the Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, where a service will be held at 8PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00PM at Great Valley Presbyterian Church, Malvern, PA. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
