Biography
MATAWAN - Dennis Allen "Wrench" Pinkiewicz, Sr. died Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. He was 70.
Born in Elizabeth, he resided in Linden before moving to Old Bridge many years ago.
Prior to his retirement 12 years ago, he worked at the Old Bridge Township MUA for 5 years.
An entrepreneur, he had owned several businesses over the years in Old Bridge.
He was a member and Past Commander of the Sons of the American Legion, and was a member and past chairman of the Old Bridge Economic Development Corporation. He was constable for Old Bridge Township in 1989.
He enjoyed fishing, and was a car enthusiast.
He was predeceased by his parents, Alphonse and Micheline Pinkiewicz, and a brother, Robert Pinkiewicz.
Surviving are his son, Dennis A. Jr. and his wife Margie Pinkiewicz of Old Bridge; and a brother, James M. Pinkiewicz of Matawan.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 8:15 AM in the Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a 9:165 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church, Old Bridge. Private cremation will follow. Relatives and friends may call on Sunday 1-5 PM at the funeral home.
