Gaetano "Nino" Labombarda passed away Wednesday, March 03, 2010, at his residence in East Brunswick.
Mr. Labombarda was 67 years of age.
Born in Giovinazzo, Italy he came to US in 1966 and resided in Hoboken before moving to East Brunswick 32 years ago.
He was a Manager for FDR Designs INC, Brooklyn, NY for 43 years before he retired in 2007.
Mr. Labombarda was a communicant of St. Bartholomew RC Church in East Brunswick.
He served in the Italian Army.
Gaetano was a devoted family man; he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years Maddalena (Leone) Labombarda of East Brunswick, by his two son Joseph M Labombarda and his wife Tracy of Easton, PA, and Michael G. Labombarda of Brooklyn, NY, his daughter Anna L. Seckular and her husband Corey of Middletown, his two brothers Vincenzo Labombarda of Venezuela, and Carlo Labombarda of Italy, his sister Grazia Colamaria of Italy,and his 6 Grandchildren; John , Emma and Lauren Labombarda, Marisa, Andrew, and Matthew Seckular.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 8:00 AM from the Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick followed by a 9:00 AM mass of Christian burial at St. Bartholomew RC Church, 470 Ryders La. in East Brunswick.
Entombment will be at St. Gabriel's Cemetery, 549 Route 520, Marlboro.
Calling hours will be Friday, March 5, 2010 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, NJ.
